Casino Salem Seeking Charitable Partners for Phase One Casino, anticipated opening in Summer 2025

SALEM, New Hampshire (May 15, 2025) – Casino Salem announced it is seeking Charitable Partners for the opening of a Phase One Casino at The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

The Phase One Casino will feature a complement of new Historical Horse Racing games, along with Blackjack and Poker, quick service food offerings, and a full bar. Anticipated to open in Summer 2025, pending regulatory approvals, the Casino will generate immediate jobs, tax revenue, and funding to qualified Charitable Organizations.

“By opening the Casino in phases, we can expedite the addition of charitable gaming to the entertainment and tourism assets that Salem has to offer in addition to generating contributions to organizations in need,” said Jeff Favre, Executive VP of Casino Salem.The Mall at Rockingham Park, along with Tuscan Village, already draw visitors from throughout New England, and the addition of Casino Salem will add another dynamic attraction.”

In future phases, the Casino will complete a $200+ million charitable gaming, entertainment and dining destination to be branded LIVE! CASINO SALEM. Ideally located at The Mall at Rockingham Park, adjacent to the iconic Tuscan Village, Live! Casino Salem will be uniquely positioned to build on the positive synergies created by the three economic drivers.

The project, developed in partnership with Lupoli Companies, Tuscan Brands, and Cordish Gaming, is at the former site of Lord & Taylor department store at the southern side of the Mall, which has been mostly vacant since the end of 2020. The project will revitalize the space and become a world-class gaming, entertainment and dining destination spanning three levels. Future phases of the property will include approximately 900+ historical horse racing machines, 40+ table games including poker, several premier food and beverage concepts, a signature center bar, a sports lounge, golf simulators and similar amenities, special event space and more.
