More than 25,000 bingo players contributed to this charitable initiative.
HEMPFIELD TWP., PA. (Sept. 17, 2026) – The Cordish Companies, Live! Casino and Mega Money Bingo are celebrating a major milestone for Charitable Community Bingo, with more than $1 million in donations now awarded to local nonprofit organizations through the weekly program at The Venue Live!
Officials from The Cordish Companies and Live! Casino joined Mega Money Bingo organizers, business and community leaders, and nonprofit representatives at a special media and community event recognizing the program's impact. Among the nonprofits represented at the event were the Alzheimer's Association, Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity, GOAL Magazine and Westmoreland Community Action.
"Every week, Charitable Community Bingo brings people together for a night of fun while giving them an opportunity to support organizations doing important work in our community," said Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino. "Reaching the $1 million mark is an incredible milestone, and The Cordish Companies and Live! Casino are proud to provide a place where this program can bring people together and help local nonprofits continue the important work they do every day."
Michael Sarsfield of Mega Money Bingo said the program's success demonstrates what can happen when the community comes together to support local organizations.
"More than $1 million in donations represents thousands of individual contributions and a community that continues to show up for the causes that matter most," Sarsfield said. "We're incredibly proud of what this program has accomplished and grateful to every player who has helped turn a night of bingo into support for nonprofits across Westmoreland County and the region."
Since the program began in June 2024, more than 25,000 bingo players have taken part in more than 100 Charitable Community Bingo events, helping generate critical support for more than 75 local nonprofit organizations.
"Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity had a wonderful time at Charitable Community Bingo," said Courtney Guerrieri, executive director of Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity. "The event was fun and engaging, and it raised valuable funds to support our mission of providing safe, affordable housing in Westmoreland County. We sincerely appreciate Live! Casino's support of local nonprofits and the positive impact this event has on organization like ours."
Charitable Community Bingo is one of several ways Live! Casino supports organizations and initiatives throughout Westmoreland County. In July, Live! hosted a celebration announcing $17.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants distributed in 2025 to fund 90 projects throughout Westmoreland County. The quarterly Live! Giveback Box program also has contributed more than $248,100 to local charities. Through the program, guests can donate their slot ticket cash-out vouchers at Giveback Boxes located throughout the casino. Each quarter, Live! distributes all Giveback Box donations to two local charities. Recent beneficiaries included Mutual Aid EMS, Latrobe's Fourth of July Celebration, Bella Terra Stables, the Mario Lemieux Foundation and CASA of Westmoreland.
Charitable Community Bingo nights are held each Monday at 5PM at Ther Venue Live! The program is open to the public, with tickets available at the door for $45.
